Where is aldinga beach in south australia

I have also heard there is also a rail track extension going to be conduct too so will be nice to save on petrol if ever needing to go in to the city or other places.

I thought the area in general would be very ruff and unsafe but to my surprise it is a very friendly, caring and a safe spot. I have had no form of trouble in the past 6 months and my young children play on the front lawn.

Also in general neighbours are quiet courteous yet respectful of your private lifestyle yet very friendly. At first I thought it was going to be a real issue as I work in the city but as said not a drama at all.

The cost of living is great though too. I believe it is great for young professionals looking for a place, families or elderly retires. The diversity is quiet broad yet caters for the types listed. Overall we have found Aldinga Beach to be a little paradise and holiday place yet we still get our lifestyle!!! Anyone has any questions feel free to comment on it and I will answer. Hi Warren, my family and I are thinking of moving to Aldinga Beach. Like you I work in the city.

Just wondering if over 2 years on you would still recommend Aldinga Beach so highly? Hi Warren! My question is similar to Fergus'. We are a family from Victoria whose kids are considering the University of Adelaide.

Aldinga seems like the perfect place for us to move, just wondering how hard the commuting is and if you still feel the same about the place. Thanks, Rosana. When i moved there it was a beautiful suburb, it used to take 40 minutes to walk through the shopping centre because you knew every body and we all stopped and chatted, a lovely seaside community.

My street is a main thoroughfare down to the beach so every friday, saturday and sunday night it turns into a racetrack. I am now looking to move back closer to the city, where it is quieter, safer and a much more pleasant place to live overall. Recent poorly planned housing developments have brought the quality of Aldinga Beach down over the past decade. With an increased level of noise from hoon driving, peak hour traffic, loud music and uncontrolled barking dogs Aldinga Beach is no longer a quiet seaside town but a far-flung suburb of Adelaide.

With the exception of the visual amenity, the quality of life is becoming more like typical outer suburbs full of those in lower socio-economic groups.

Definately too noisy for someone trying to deal with depression. I agree so much about Dogs Drives me up the wall If people have dogs leave them in the house when you go to work. Yes The 'Barking Dogs' issue is becoming a major problem.

Just keep reporting them and their owners to the Council and hopefully they will wake up and do something about it.

Yes, there is a little problem with dogs barking in the area, but hoons?! I've been up there several times for a holiday with my cousins, and never have I heard hooning in the streets! There is literally 1 to no cars driving in the area, apart from along Silver Sands, the beach. Get your facts right before you write and post! Great place to live, love the beach and fresh air. Sunday estate the best in Adelaide, nicely set up. Good flow to city with expressway open. Summer holiday feeling.

This property is located in some of the best part of the Lower Esplanade. The land is huge and a 2 story home would get the best views of the bay as well as the scrub.
