How do sanita clogs run

I wear clogs all the time because of my back and these clogs are my absolute favorites. They are perfect for wearing in-house as they are quiet on wood floors and when walking up and down stairs.

If you use them in the garden just put them under the water tap to clean them - dry them off and they are ready for use again. They are very durable - my first pair lasted several years. I hurried to buy two more pairs when I saw that they were in the close-out. The clogs run true to size. I take a European 36 and they fit perfectly. This is my first time buying clog sandals.

I wear clogs for work before but never thought about wearing for fashion. It seems like it's in style lately so I'll give them a try. I'm delightfully surprised at how light and comfortable they are. The leather is real soft and genuine leather. They look great and go with a lot of styles. It is important to know that both brands offer high-quality and irresistible shoes. If you pick up a pair of Dansko, they offer premium quality materials, sturdiness, and a better posture.

The same goes for buying a pair of Sanita. But the only difference is the price. The former is more costly than the latter. There are two types of clogs Dansko and Sanita offer. Closed-back and open back clogs. Closed-back clogs, as you must have guessed already, have back support.

They are there to prevent slipping and support your feet as you walk. Open back clogs are good to look at but not so great otherwise. Clogs are not as heavy and thick-skinned as sports shoes. Provided you will be on your toes most of the day, the weight is an important factor to consider. Too much weight on your feet can cause foot problems. The point of wearing clogs is to feel at ease. They improve ventilation allowing your skin to breathe as you walk or stand all day. Walking on a wet surface is going to be an everyday thing.

Putting anti-slip soles or other accessories on your standard shoes is not enough. You need something specific like clogs that offer protection and stability. The sole grip is made of rubber or a rubber blend. The upper material is one of the most important deciding factors for clogs. The common upper materials are leather, rubber, or polyurethane. They are high-quality and premium materials.

Researched and tested for offering support for a long day. A solid upper material also resists stains and dampness from showing. In my daily routine I am constantly asked about my shoes , and of course I love to share about all the goodness these shoes bring me. I have tons of shoes, but seem to live in my Sanita's. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is on their feet all day like I tend to be. John B, Zappos Customer , February 28, Overall 2 Rated 2 stars out of 5.

I am sadly disappointed in these shoes. I loved them for the time I had them, and they had become favorites in terms of comfort and style. But the entire upper foot bed is now separating from the platform at the toe, and staples are falling out. The shoe is ruined I usually buy Dansko but bought these to try them out. I will be returning to Dansko brands because none of them have ever fallen apart on me, even after years of regular use. Anonymous, Zappos Customer , February 21, Cannot say enough about how great these clogs are.

I have been there and back with colors and styles and such - but oiled black Sanita clogs bring back the wonder and comfort of Dansko in the old days. My shoe length is 7. All the other shoes in my closet are now neglected and probably will stay that way. Love Sanita. Annie, Zappos Customer , February 1, These have a more quality feel than the Dankso clog, a bit more sturdy and better support. Perfect for me. Anonymous, Zappos Customer , March 19, I love these clogs! I have been wearing Danskos and now Sanita clogs because Sanita is the original maker of the soles for Dansko for just about 12 years now and they are incredibly comfortable.

I like usually wear a 40, which is a little bigger than my normal size in other shoes, but I like to wear really thick socks with them. I worked in healthcare for much of this time and my feet never felt better; even better than with running shoes.

I turned many people onto them as the support is phenominal! These oiled professionals do have a different surface than they did before, which I like, but it does have a texture to it, and to me, it is like the texture on my saddle and my handbag.

The old texture was more suede-like and scuffed more. Sizing to me is consistent. Mine always fit ever so snug when new and stretch a bit with wear. These shoes also last a really long time if you care for the leather. Anonymous, Zappos Customer , February 8, Overall 3 Rated 3 stars out of 5.

Comfort 2 Rated 2 stars out of 5. I agree with the other reviewers regarding the size. I own 3 pairs of Sanita in this style, all purchased from Zappos. When I compared the black, professional oil Sanita to my identical size and style in the grey professional oil, the recently purchased pair size 40 is a half size smaller than my grey pair size 40, purchased in For the cost of these shoes, I expect better sizing and quality assurance from this manufacturer.

Very disappointed. I wear a 8. My toes not only touched the end of the toe box, I couldn't even straighten them out in the toe box, particularly on the right shoe. What's up with this, Sanita? Anonymous, Zappos Customer , September 3, I adore these shoes.

I have three pairs of them in different colors. So, do Dansko and Sanita fit the same? Well, not exactly. Sanita is currently transitioning from a leather insole to a padded microfibre insole in all of its styles.

This has resulted in a cosier fit and snugger feel. Dansko shoes on the other hand are designed to be medium-width, this means that some wearers may find the footwear a little loose.

Both open back Sanita clogs and open back Dansko clogs feature a wider heel designed to allow a finger-width of space between the heel of the foot and the heel of the shoe. In both cases, the toes should meet the front of the clog. If you opt for clogs with a closed heel , the back of the shoe should still have a loose fit and be able to move up and down freely.

Both Dansko and Sanita have size charts for men and women. Dansko and Sanita are both best known for their high quality, Danish-style clogs. These comfortable, durable shoes are ideal for nurses, carers, teachers and other professionals that spend long periods of time on their feet.

Both Dansko and Sanita clogs are made from hard wearing materials and both are designed to provide maximum comfort. Sanita clogs however go one step further. Their special design trains the foot and leg muscles, activates the vein valve and prevents cramps. Standing still in Sanita clogs relieves the pressure on the legs and back and prevents the aches and pains that are commonly associated with prolonged periods on the feet.

This makes them ideal for people in a range of professions. Affordability is always important when investing in any kind of footwear. Professionals want to know that, as well as being affordable, the shoes they buy will withstand heavy use, look smart at the end of a long shift and remain comfortable even when worn every day. In general, Sanita clogs are a lot more affordable than comparable Dansko professional styles. This makes Sanita clogs a very popular choice for professionals who want to get high-quality shoes for an affordable price.

Though Dansko professional clogs are good, their price point makes them a less attractive option for many. Sanita clogs are as good as Dansko whilst being more affordable. As a result, many professionals opt for the Danish brand over its American rival.

Another area where Sanita compares particularly well with Dansko is when it comes to style. As well as its standard range of high quality clogs, the brand also offers professional knit shoes , leather upper clogs with a carbon style closed heel and colourful open back clogs that are ideal for people working with children.

This wide choice makes it easy to find the shoes that are perfect for your feet and your profession. Both Dansko and Sanita shoes are available from professional footwear suppliers in countries around the world.

In general, Sanita shoes are easier to find and the brand often has a better choice of styles and sizes available from online retailers.
